Bar Grill Dancing Eats
Fullerton's natural habitats ranged from the open prairie, in the company of nothing but a bed roll and a cracked Kay guitar, to the spotlit stages of the road houses, barrel houses, dance clubs, and bottle clubs that, in the years after World War II, lit the downtowns and state and county roads across the continent and, by the start of the U.S.'s misadventures in the Middle East, began giving way to the chain night clubs, corporate-named large venues, and televised pseudo-happenings that dominate the entertainment scene today.
Bar Grill Dancing Eats revisits some of the Fullerton tunes that rocked the house in the days before TV moved to Hollywood and people started staying home for their fun.

[Fresh audio track coming soon.]
When she walks down the street,
the fellers all stare,
suck in their guts,
slick back their hair.
She could take her pick,
but it's plain to see,
my baby likes me.
My baby likes me, my baby likes me,
my baby likes me, my baby likes me.
Well, I'm just as happy as a man can be,
'cause my baby likes me.
Cats call her up
she don't even know,
want to take her fishing,
go to a show.
Well, she says she's booked solid,
so I think you'll agree:
my baby likes me.
My baby likes me, my baby likes me,
my baby likes me, my baby likes me.
Well, I'm as happy as a juba at a Jubilee
'cause my baby likes me.
Her boss wants to take her
for a ride in his car,
it's long and fast
and it'll take her far.
But it's lonely at the top
and th'ain't nothing for free,
so my baby likes me.
My baby likes me, my baby likes me,
my baby likes me, my baby likes me.
Well, I'm as happy as a cat in a catbird tree,
'cause my baby likes me.
My baby likes me, my baby likes me,
my baby likes me, my baby likes me.

A generic love song. When Jan Wenner asked him which love of Fullerton’s life it was about, he said, “None of 'em! All of ‘em!"
"I don't write too many love songs," he confessed during a radio interview with Murray "the K" Kaufman. "I've always left those to the masters. Aretha, the Four Tops, Sam and Dave, the Beatles. Once you get past all them, there's really not much left to be said. 'Bernadette!' How could anyone beat that?"

Written in the apartment of nephew Cameron, Del's younger brother, shortly after Fullerton’s first divorce.
