French Revolution
Mixologist: Will Everitt, Portland, Maine

Because jeez, what hellraiser doesn't appreciate the French Revolution?
  •  2 ounces brandy
  • 1/2 ounce Framboise raspberry liqueur
  • 3 ounces chilled champagne

Pour the brandy and framboise into a mixing glass or shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Stir well and strain into a champagne flute. Add the champagne and serve.

Ooh, la la!

James Bond
Mixologist: Will Everitt, Portland, Maine

This has become our favorite “signature cocktail” of parties and get togethers. Like Bond, it is roguish but carries an outward look of elegance — an explosive personality in a champagne flute.
  • 1 sugar cube
  • Several dashes of bitters
  • 1 ounce vodka
  • Champagne or sparkling wine

In a champagne flute, saturate the sugar cube with bitters
Pour in an ounce of vodka.
Fill the flute with champagne and serve (and watch the beautiful bubbles come out from under the bitter saturated sugar cube!).

Naked Old Fashioned
Mixologist: Greg Field, Yarmouth, Maine
  • 2 ounces rye whiskey
  • 1 ice cube

Pour rye into old fashioned glass. Add ice cube. Skip all the other crap like bitters, sugar, orange rind.

Sip or drink, depending on how long the night will be and who's driving.

Neon Leon
Mixologist: Leon Fullerton, missing and presumed immortal

Fullerton's favorite summer getaway, served with pride and backed by integrity at the Mermaid Bar, Juan's Bolero Club, the Lightning Shack, One-eyed Jack's, the Blue Mango, and other fine drinking establishments coast to coast, pole to pole, and guzzle to zatch:

  • Fill glass jar with ice cubes.
  • Add judicious helping of bourbon (top or bottom shelf).
  • Fill rest of way with pineapple juice (canned or fresh).
  • Add a big sprig of fresh mint.
  • Stir.
  • Enjoy!

If you know of a bar that serves Neon Leons, let us know and we'll put in a plug for 'em here. Thanks, podner!
